  7. I loved turkey the people are so friendly, they’re completely different to how I imagined them to be.
I’ve been very fortunate and travelled the world, as a rule would never revisit a country that I had been to before.
Turkey is an exception to this rule – need I say any more.

  21. Never been to Turkey, but have seen pictures of it and it looks quite nice and very interesting. It would be nice to discover the beautiful places it seems to have, and get to know the people who live there. We should all go to these places to get to know our fellow man, and interest yourself in the way they live. The World is a small place, when we all have the means of travel. which our ancestors never had.

Now a trip out east to Diyarbakir and Lake Van would really interest me.

I had planned to take my husband to turkey this year for our wedding anniversary but he lost his job two weeks ago and we’ve had a horrible year, so we have had to put the plans on hold for another year. Our only holiday in three years has been to edinburgh for a weekend and even then i had to walk straight into work after getting off the coach back at home. I didn’t get to see my house for 9 hurs after we got home. I would love to get away and would love evn more to give my husbad some good news for a change.

  61. Some of my family have been there and they said it was great. I moved to Dublin last year and really need a bit of sun – not too much heat though – and a break from the rain.
My partner just had holidays a couple of weeks ago but the company called him back so we couldn’t do anything.
I’m working on contracts so don’t have enough money to save for it, haven’t had a holiday in the last three years. And it won’t get better now I’m starting university.
Like many of the others we seem to be working just to pay the bills.
Have read a lot about it and would like to go see the archaeological sites and museums.
    Good luck to everybody.

Marmaris, Icemeler and the places whilst similar all offer a unique atmosphere. Cleopatara’s Island is beautiful and the sand sublime (from the Sahara allegedly??).

Would love to go back for a couple of weeks, to live the life and see the changes that the currency and period have time have taken on the places mentioned

I always recommend Turkey now as a destination. If I was able I would go there to live. I just love the diversity and definately the weather.

  99. I have had my seven years bad luck and hope that I can win this to prove that it is over!!

Just in case I don’t I would like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely Doctors and Nurses, (plus the kind catering staff who encouraged me to eat again) at Northwick Park, Hammersmith & Queen Charlottes, and at Charing Cross Hospital. Also to my wonderful GP practice.

Also thank you to the ugly Irene who rescued me from my bully of a boyfriend and stole my job. But while I worked there I had a lovely email-pal in Didim – just a little way along the coast from Bodram (?!)

If I won I would take my 85 year old Mum – our last trip (the first) was in 2001.. Boy does she deserve it, I certainly don’t know what I would have done without her when I was ill – Thank you Mum!

Please pick us Yahoo Travel.. Thanks for the chance.
