Answers is undergoing some planned maintenance on Friday November 21st, from 8:30am GMT. We anticipate the work will take a number of hours, and Answers will be unavailable during that time. If there is any change to the schedule, we will inform you here with updates.

I haven’t noticed any difference, except that I’ve been getting less hate mail from people since last time.
That and people connecting through a beta version of something. I’m not really into providing frustrated divorcee’s with cyber-sex…

Yahoo is working hard to make the web site work well. It has to take a little bit of time. Don’t complain for a few hours, don’t you have anything else to do?!?

Hmmm. Have these so called updates been made to stop Yahoo Answers from crashing on the iPhone? Because since the site was updated the other day it now no longer crashes Safari on the iPhone. Why don’t Yahoo just be upfront about why they’re updating the site? [shrugs]

My god… You should listen to yourselves.. It really seems quite pathetic.
If the system is down, then it’s down… Don’t whine and moan about how it’s unacceptible… They obviously needed to fix something. Whether you can see it or not, for a maintenance to be requires, they must have had something wrong, only not one of the minor things mentioned here…
For once, instead of harping on about how crap yahoo is, or how unacceptible it is, why not try leaving the pc for a bit. You know? Some fresh air.

Considering the questions and answering site is for free and that we the users have been enjoying it for many months, except that recently there been some problems, I think it is completely in order that some time out be taken for maintanence. That this has to be repeated is no big deal, not every trial must be perfect.
