  7. I have read that it originated from printing “Christmas” but trying to replicate a Greek symbol for Christ that looks like an X with a small p on top of it. This symbol can be seen in many old religious paintings. Since the printers didn’t have the correct symbol they substituted a plain X instead.
    I’ve also heard that it’s just to take Christ out of Christmas.

  9. the rich and afluent spend 100’s of pounds on gifts and presents. They open it on X’mas day, but the boxes in which they were bought is thrown out for the bin collectors to collect , on the next day. hence it is called boxing day!!!!!!!ha ha ha

  10. you have been eating and dining too much.You have been under stress, tolerance level low. You are winding down. The one who comes to your next day of X’mas to wake you up from your peaceful sleep gets a punch in the nose. Hence it is called BOXING DAY¬!

  11. There is no concept of Christmas, First of all understand the basic things. The English name “Jesus,” which later employed the letter “J,” is a derivation from Greek (converters were the Jewesh) “Iesous” and the Latin “Iesus” version. When the Iesa borned that was the summer season.

    Christmas Eve just to run the businesses, whatever the people earn in whole year they all lost on Christmas Eve to buy un necessary things. Yes, onething is that people get chance to meet with their family n friend on this day.
